What are Muse, Dots and Grok Bot?

They are AI assistants designed to continue work across tasks and connected applications. Their product documentation describes a continuing working environment rather than only a single chat response.

Meta’s Muse for Small Business announcement lists connections including Shopify, Canva and Facebook and Instagram business accounts. Meta states that publishing, sending and spending require approval. Meta’s announcement

OpenAI describes Dots as having their own cloud computer and access to connected applications. SpaceXAI’s Grok Bot documentation describes persistent computers with files and browser access. How do their business propositions differ?

Muse’s announcement emphasises small-business tools, while Dots and Grok Bot describe broader work across applications using persistent computers. The practical difference depends on the connections and controls available for a particular assignment.

A documented connector can reduce the work of connecting an existing system. It does not establish that the assistant can perform every task within that system or that the business has granted all the necessary permissions.

OpenAI also separates its personal dot launch from a preview of specialist organisational dots. The preview describes a proposed deployment for defined business responsibilities; it is not evidence of general availability for every organisation. The Dots launch

Can UK businesses access all three products?

Access varies by product, plan and rollout. Availability in one country or subscription does not establish availability in another.

Meta’s 29 September 2026 announcement describes Muse as available in the US and Canada. It does not confirm UK access. Meta’s announcement

OpenAI’s documentation checked on 6 October excludes the UK from the initial Pro rollout, while listing Business Premium in supported ChatGPT regions. Enterprise access is a beta requiring administrator enablement, with gradual rollout. Dots access guidance

The cited Grok Bot overview does not provide a complete UK eligibility statement. Product documentation and actual account access therefore answer different parts of the availability question.

What establishes whether an assistant is suitable for a business task?

Suitability depends on the quality of its work, its permitted actions and the operating terms for that deployment. A feature list alone cannot establish those conditions.

Relevant evidence includes whether the assistant uses the right records, handles incomplete information and stops when a decision requires a person. Correction time and usage costs affect the commercial result as well as completion speed.

Persistent access makes the responsibility broader than a single prompt. The business’s data requirements, approval arrangements and tolerance for interrupted work can all change which product fits. None of the cited announcements establishes a universal winner.
